Vintage Chanel 1996 2-piece skirt suit neutral tan tweed CC logo gold buttons 40

From the pre-fall 1996 (96A) collection by Karl Lagerfeld, this two-piece jacket and skirt set is in excellent condition. Features prominent interlocking CC logo gold buttons at cuffs, and iconic Chanel wool tweed of ivory, tan, and gray.

Note moderate fading at interior fabric tags, other than that, both jacket and skirt have no visible flaws or damage. Skirt was professionally altered, including letting out side seams for more room at hip. Chanel suits are designed to be tailored up or down up to 2 sizes and can be customized to fit the body. FR 40 is an EU 38, which is US 8; however, Chanel tends to run small. Measurements below. Pinned to fit mannequin & model, both US size 4.

our choices matter

Fashion's dirty ways are surpassed by only the oil and gas industry. Worldwide, the industry poisons waterways, amasses millions of tons of waste, treats workers unfairly, and causes extreme suffering to the most innocent and voiceless victims: animals.

By styling items already in circulation, we slow down the consumption and
resulting damage that the relentless taste for "new" creates.

Less trend, more made to last. That's what we're about.
